Theta Psi Zeta Scholarship Guidelines

All applications must be submitted by 11:59pm on Feb 28, 2025
ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS
The following criteria will be used to evaluate the applications:

Applicant must have an overall grade point average of 2.5 (B) or greater.

Applicant must be a minority female high school student who is currently a graduating senior

Applicant must reside in or attend an accredited school in Bay County, Florida

Essay
ESSAY INSTRUCTIONS
Applicants must pick one (1) essay topic from the options below. All essays should be between 500-800 words:

Who or what has been the greatest influence on your decision to attend college and why?

How have you been an agent of change within your community? What did you do and how was it helpful to the community?
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION

The Finer Womanhood Scholarship will be awarded based on the evaluation criteria. Transcript grades will be considered but are not the only basis for selection.

The Scholarship will be a minimum of $500.

Funds will be released upon receipt of proof of acceptance and registration into a two-year or four-year college or university along with the most recent transcript. Proof must be on anofficial college or university letterhead. Scholarship checks will be forwarded directly to college/university via the bursar’s/financial office made payable to the scholarship recipient and the college unless other arrangements are deemed appropriate by the Theta Psi Zeta Chapter.
